THE PURPOSE

About a year after my dearly beloved sister passed away, I was inspired to set up a Scholarship Foundation in honor of her. I honestly believed that this was one of the ways that God was using to heal me, to comfort me and to give me peace. It was also a way of keeping part of my sister’s legacy alive by doing some of the things that she enjoyed; which was helping people (especially children achieve academically, such that they might make a positive impact in their community). Although I didn’t get started immediately, the desire never left. And by the leading and guidance of the Spirit of the Lord; about a year later, doors were opened and I was able to move forward and establish the foundation.

In keeping with her legacy, the purpose of the foundation is to
“provide financial assistance to some child upon high school graduation in the furthering of their academic education at any of the accredited Colleges or Universities within the United States”.

I ask for your prayers, financial support, or any other means of support that you might be able to render in this endeavor; because our children really are the future and a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
