Mrs. Meloneze McNeal Moore was born and raised in Quincy, Florida.   She is the 2nd oldest of nine children born to the late Mr. Roman and Mrs. Mildred McNeal.  She is married to Rev. Alfred J. Moore (Pastor of the Orlando Community Baptist Church) and the proud mother of Alfrea Michelle Moore and Alfred J. Moore, Jr. (Travanna – deceased as of 5/5/19); and grandmother of four precious granddaughters (London Dream Bracy, Brooklyn Love Bracy, Kaylen Alexis Moore and Aria Renae Moore); and grandson (Elijah Alfred Moore).  Mrs. Moore has a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science from Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida.  She is Founder and President of the Phyllis McNeal Simmons Educational Scholarship Foundation established September 2007 in honor and memory of her sister; which has awarded nearly 50 scholarships to date.

For nearly 40 years, Mrs. Moore has served and worked diligently in many capacities in the church.  Among them were Sunday School Teacher for teenagers and young adults; member of the Gospel Choir, Planning Committee, Educational Committee, and President of the Deaconess. Working along with her husband, they also established and conducted the CBC Tutoring Program for five years; helping many students to excel.  In May 2003, Mrs. Moore was recognized as CBC Mother of the Year.  Mrs. Moore favorite scripture is: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not".  In practicing this; Mrs. Moore has lived and continues to live a blessed and prosperous life in all aspects.  In 2007, she was a recipient of the Lockheed Martin NOVA Award, the cooperation highest recognition for achievement.  Mrs. Moore retired from Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in 2012 after 31 years of service as a software engineer. Prior to her career at Lockheed Martin, Mrs. Moore worked four years at John F. Kennedy Space Center, NASA where she was recognized in the Group Achievement Award for Planning Research Corporation Software Group.  Mrs. Moore is simply enjoying her grandchildren for now and doing what the Lord will have her to do as best as she can.
